Agency and client materials
- Original website content and agency-created materials may be protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws.
- Ownership and permitted use of paid client deliverables are governed by the applicable written client agreement.
Third-party materials
Logos, publication names, trademarks and editorial content remain the property of their respective owners. Reference to a third party does not imply endorsement or partnership.
Reporting claimed infringement
- A rights holder may submit a notice through the website campaign inquiry route and clearly identify it as “Copyright Notice.”
- The notice should identify the protected work, the material at issue, its location, the reporting party’s contact information, a good-faith statement and evidence of authority to act.
Review process
- Reasonably complete notices will be reviewed and may be referred to the relevant client, hosting provider, distributor or publisher when another party controls the material.
- Submission of a notice does not guarantee a particular outcome and should not be used to make knowingly false claims.
