Communications Compliance

These principles support responsible work with clients, media and distribution platforms, technology vendors and other business partners.

Effective: August 20, 2026

Truthful communications

  • Client communications should be based on accurate, supportable information and should not intentionally mislead an audience.
  • Material claims, credentials, quotations and third-party references require appropriate support or authorization.

Lawful marketing and outreach

  • Campaigns must comply with applicable law and relevant platform rules.
  • Motenza PR does not support deceptive solicitation, impersonation, fabricated news or unsolicited bulk communications that violate applicable requirements.

Client authorization

Clients are expected to authorize submitted materials, verify their factual accuracy and confirm rights to supplied names, images, trademarks, quotes and other content.

Editorial independence

  • Independent publishers, journalists, platforms, search engines and distribution networks control their own acceptance, publication, indexing and placement decisions.
  • No official relationship or guaranteed outcome should be inferred from the appearance of a publisher name in campaign planning materials.

Data privacy and security

Client and inquiry information should be limited to what is reasonably necessary, handled through appropriate systems and shared with vendors only for legitimate operational purposes.

Vendor responsibility and records

  • Vendors are expected to follow applicable law, respect platform policies and protect information entrusted to them.
  • Reasonable records may be maintained for approvals, submitted materials, distribution activity and material corrections.

Prohibited content

The agency may reject campaigns involving fraud, unlawful activity, fabricated credentials, deceptive financial claims, infringement, harassment, malicious content or intentionally false press materials.
